No. All workshops are included in the registration fee. There are no additional costs for delegates during the conference. However, you are advised to register early for the workshops because there is limited attendance and they tend to fill up quickly.
All changes must be made in writing prior to the September 18 registration deadline. Requests to attend another session depend on availability. Please do not change sessions once you are on site. This affects attendance and meeting room size and services.
There are cancellation dates when refunds apply. After those dates, registrants are advised to contact ODHA.
Yes, meals are included. The registration fee covers all meals except on Friday night, when delegates are on their own after the Exhibit Hall closes at 7:30 p.m.
ODHA will make meal arrangements for those with allergies. There is space on the registration form to identify special dietary needs.
Speaker handouts for most of the sessions will be available for one week after the conference at https://odha-reenergize.ca/ . If you are unable to find a particular handout, the speaker did not provide one.
Yes, it is important to enhance your practice and your client care. The conference is the place to do this. The profession is constantly changing and the conference helps to keep you stay current and on top of trends. All dental hygienists must keep their portfolios up to date and the ODHA conference is one of the best venues to help determine learning goals and meet CDHO requirements. It is also an opportunity to connect with colleagues, network and learn how to get involved in ODHA, your professional Association.
A number of sessions will be taped this year. They will be identified and listed in the onsite program.
Unless you are a non-profit organization or an ODHA service supplier, there are no discounts on the purchase of booth space. There is a special price for two booths.
Infants in arms are permitted in the meeting rooms and in the Exhibit Hall provided they are not disruptive. Strollers may be used on the exhibit floor but not in the meeting rooms. Those who use strollers in the Exhibit Hall do so at their own risk. All other children will not be permitted in the meeting rooms. They may attend the exhibits if they are registered as a guest and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Yes, you must be present to claim your prize. Names will be drawn in the Exhibit Hall on both days. Check the onsite conference program for times.
