Michelle Aube Simmonds
Michelle Aube Simmonds brings 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist, dental hygiene professor, entrepreneur and owner of Positive Impact Dental Coaching, which offers leadership and coaching for dental professionals. Since 1994 Michelle has been dental hygiene department leader and IPAC officer at Southwest Dental Care in London. She is continuing education manager at maxill in St. Thomas, where she is researcher, speaker, advisor and IPAC leader. Her professional speaking extends to other companies such as J&J and Straumann as well as organizations including Public Health Ontario, ODHA, CDHA and her local dental hygiene society. After completing the dental assisting program in 1993, Michelle went on to graduate from the dental hygiene program at Algonquin College and is registered for self-initiation. Since 2013 she has held teaching positions at Fanshawe College and Western University in London. Active in many aspects of the dental industry, she is a contributing writer for publications and helps develop policy for college dental programs. In 2019, Michelle was honoured with the CDHA Superhero Award.
